Configure your aisle
Start with a Starter Bay, then add Add-On Bays to extend a run. Keep 900–1200 mm clear aisle width for trolleys, and place heavy items between knee and chest height to improve ergonomics and safety.
Safety & good practice
Apply load labels on each bay, anchor where appropriate, and distribute weight evenly. Keep overhangs to a minimum and maintain clear access around fire equipment and exits.

FAQs
Q: What’s the difference between longspan and boltless shelving?
A: Longspan suits wider cartons and bulkier items; boltless rivet shelving assembles faster and is highly flexible for small-parts and mixed SKUs.
Q: Can I extend a run later?
A: Yes — use Add-On Bays and extra beams/shelves for long-span shelving instead of single units, so your storage can grow with your inventory.
Q: How do I choose shelf type?
A: Choose full-metal for heavy/dirty environments; MDF shelves for general purpose and quieter handling.
Q: Is 200 kg per level enough?
A: For most cartons and parts, yes. If you regularly exceed this, distribute weight across more levels or split into multiple bays.
